Hello to all members
I have just joined so unfamiliar with forum rules and etiquette, so if I'm posting in the wrong forum admins please let me know.

I'm an Expat living in Didim and am able to supply for a small fee (to cover my costs and a moderate profit) programs from current uk telly namely ITV, BBC and Channel4 on DVD so you can watch on your TV. I searched for ever to find this material for myself and realise there will be many similar minded expats who may want to have a regular supply of current UK telly. I'm not a soap fan personally but all of the popular ones are available suck as Corrie, Eastenders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks. I can get drama and crime like Lewis, Heartbeat, Casualty, He Kills Coppers, Holby City and Holby Blue, plus comedy like Benidorm. IMPORTANTLY these programs are as broadcast the week before in the UK. Sorry I cant do live stuff as its a different format to what my recording equipment can handle.

I can fit around 2 hours of telly on 1 disk so thought I would make an Omnibus disk for each of the soaps (if thats what you want) or 2 x 1 hour programs per disk (Lewis, He Kills Coppers etc)

The process of saving a program, decoding it, encoding for DVD and copying to a blank disk takes a few hours so I will only be able to offer this to a max of 15 people on a regular basis.

Before the cynics tear into me, this isnt an attempt to set up a multi million pound business or an attempt to rip people off....(have been ripped into verbally on other forums too)...I just found a way to watch current UK telly here in Turkey and decided to share it with some fellow expats...once the DVD's are distributed I have no problem with people sharing them around friends, making copies or whatever... I will probably make a profit of 1 or 2 lira a disk so you can see I'm playing fair here. I dont guarantee to provide any program or every program but I will do my best to find what you require.

As I live in Didm this really was aimed at fellow residents but if the postal service is reliable enough I will post to other resorts if you pay the postage of course

Note to cynics and spoilsports....I am trying to provide expats with something that I believe is wanted. If you are not interested in UK telly or you think UK TV is rubbish thats your opinion but please dont try to spoil this for others that do want it.

Note for admins...if you think my post is unappropriate please inform me before doing anything drastic. I know if I read this as an expat I would love the chance to get some current UK telly on a regular basis.
